Julia’s love of music and song

My music is an expression of the beauty of life. My songs are about peace, beauty and love. I feel I am sowing seeds of happiness and love to observe these seeds as they flower.

Music is pure enjoyment which can make people laugh, cry and think. It helps me appreciate the joys of life and transcend the world’s suffering.  Singing my songs is my reason for existing.

My songs are composed by Abdul Salam Kheir, who arranged Led Zeppelin’s ‘No Quarter’ in 1994 and worked with Juan Martin in 1995. His albums include ‘Musica al Hambra’ in 2007 with Catherine Bott, and ‘Conviventia’ for the film ‘Mary de Nazareth’.

I worked with a professional production team whose desire to create a harmonious balance of eastern melodies and western beats matched my own passion to reinforce the links between eastern and western cultures through performance.

I hope people will one day understand each other better, that we can benefit from experiences with and knowledge of our neighbours. My art is about being inspired by exceptional elements from different cultures and merging them into a masterpiece.
